Outpatient Collections: Transport on ice.

Collection Instructions

Inpatient Collection: Red top tube must be unopened to avoid evaporation.
Minimum Draw Volume: 1mL

Outpatient Collection:  Red top tube - Allow to clot for 30 minutes prior to centrifugation. 
After centrifugation, aliquot serum and tightly cap and seal the sample immediately to minimize exposure to air, refrigerated at 4-8°C for no longer than 48 hours. 
Minimum Draw Volume: 1mL
