Collection Instructions

Body fluids should be collected in EDTA-2K anticoagulant. Approved Body Fluid sample types for the XN-900 are Peritoneal Fluid, Pleural Fluid, and Synovail Fluid. Please invert 4 to 5 times immediately after collection. Haned delivered or tube system acceptable. 

Patient Preparation

No special patient preparation is necessary.

Specimen Transport Temperature

Stability- Up to 24 hours from the time of collectio when stored at ambient temperature.
