Collection Instructions
Ratio of anticoagulant (present in the collection tube) to blood collected is very critical in coagulation studies. Check and collect the correct volume of blood as guided in collection tube label. The etched minimum fill indicator represents the minimum volume of blood required for analysis. (A minimum of 90% fillis recommended) Immediately after the draw, gently invert the tube 3 to 4 times.
