Specimen Requirements
Lavendar Top Tube (EDTA) 4 mL
Required Volume:
2 mL preferred
1 mL minimum
Specimens must not be clotted, grossly hemolyzed, and drawn above an IV.
Order of Draw
Specimen Transport Temperature
Stability- Stored at room temperature for 4 hours.
Refrigerated specimens are acceptable for testing for up to 24 hours.
