Specimen Transport and Stability Information
Stability- Refrigerated Up to 24 hours from the time of collection.
Stability- Ambient Up to 8 hours from the time of collection.
Specimen must be centrifuged on arrival to the lab.
If specimen will not be received in lab within 1 hour of collection, then place specimen in amber specimen bag. Place this amber bag in a biohazard bag and seal.
